Step 1: Design: We have complete designs for the facility! Check!
Step 2: Permit: Stanwood City has issued us permits!
Check!
Step 3: Financing: We have secured a loan and raised enough money to
start! Check!
We don't have enough to fully complete the building,
so pray that the Lord would continue to provide.
Step 4: Build!
Lord willing, we will start moving ground and setting the foundation as we
hit nicer weather in a few months.
How can you be
involved? Pray for the following needs:
1)
Ministry of Construction. In the process of building this
building, our goal is to be a shining witness of the Lord's love to the
construction workers, suppliers, etc., actively sharing the love of God
through the construction process. This is an exciting and
creative concept. Seven teams help to involve all of the church
family in this ministry. Perhaps you will be led to serve on one of
these teams. Contact Steve Welch for more information on being
involved with this!
2) Gift in Kind.
If you know someone in the construction trade personally who you think
might catch the vision and find creative ways to help us maximize our
investment, please pass their contact info along to Mike Pearce or to his
wife Julie in the church office. Pray and pass along contacts for
not only tradesmen, but suppliers as well. Pray also for volunteers
to help in the construction process.
3) Investments and Financial Gifts. The Kingdom of God and it's
mission here on earth is certainly a cause worth investing in. If
you, or someone you know, is interested in some creative ways to support
the Lord's work with finances, please contact the church office.
Do we really think we can do this?
No, we can’t. It's impossible... Only God can! So
keep praying!! God is bringing the mission field to our doors, literally,
and we have chosen to be obedient to God's call to step out in faith.
This means preparing to “make disciples” in our growing Cedarhome
community. Lord, have your way. We don't want to be left
out as You build Your church of living stones. Please help us be wise and
have a physical place to invite them to!
Amen! |
