Community Groups

Joining a community group is one of the the easiest ways to connect with other Christians!  Groups of ten to twenty people meet throughout the Stanwood area throughout the week for friendship, food, a Bible-based discussion, and prayer.  We’d love to help you find a group that’s right for you!

Nursery Ministry

We’re thankful to have a brand new nursery at Cedarhome! Nursery ministry on Sunday mornings is available for infants through three year-olds. We have a fantastic team of volunteers who serve in our nursery ministry. Our nursery ministry is led by Julie Olson.

If you have questions about nursery ministry, please contact us at info@cedarhome.org

 Cedarhome Kids Ministry

Cedarhome Kids Ministry ministers to kids (Pre-K through 5th Grade) and their families.  Children attend the 10am worship service with their families, and they are released before the sermon for junior church. During junior church, we use an excellent-interactive curriculum called “The Gospel Project.” The Gospel Project is a three-year, chronological tour through the Bible, and we show kids how every story of the Bible points to Jesus!

Additionally, we offer age-appropriate Sunday School classes for children at 8:45am on Sunday mornings.

 Cedarhome Youth Ministry

Cedarhome Youth Ministry serves students in grades 6-12. During the school year, we meet every Thursday from 6:30-8:30PM for games, worship, and a message. Throughout the year, we normally have lots of additional events, like a fall retreat, a winter snow retreat, service projects, parties, and concerts. We love teenagers and would love for your teenager to join us!

Men’s/Women’s Ministries

We have a large MOPS group that fills up every year at Cedarhome. MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers.” MOPS offers moms a great way to build friendships and have regular community with other moms amidst the busyness of motherhood.

If you’d like more information about MOPS, please contact us at info@cedarhome.org

Special Events

Throughout the year, we do all sorts of special events that give us a chance to build relationships and to serve others. These include our “No Tricks, Just Treats” event, the Stanwood Parade, Christmas events, prayer and worship nights, campfires, the Soup Kitchen ministry, Vacation Bible School, mission trips, and lots more!
